Introduction

We are pleased to inform you The Second International Agarwood Conference in Thailand is now almost fully booked up. As our first conference we have limited the number of delegates to a maximum of 100 in order to create a conference ambiance where meaningful discussions and exchanges remain possible and satisfactory.

The exclusivity and intimacy of our conference is guaranteed as all activities are strictly limited to delegates and invited Thai scientists/officials. Our intension is to create an environment in which Agarwood information exchanges, presentations and Q/A time, two field trip visits, a one-day workshop, and last but not least an informal delegate exchange-day will satisfy and enlighten all participants regarding the latest trends in all fields of Agarwood development.

A second general update will be posted on our web site in January. From then onward detailed updates and required information exchanges will only be provided to delegates who have registered and paid conference fees

Participants

We expect a mix of researchers and participants involved in all aspects of agarwood production, trade and regulation.

Timing: as November and December are very busy months in Bangkok (and Thailand) preference is given to a later date in early 2007, in early March 2007 before the Thai New Year and before the start of the rainy season.
